Demonstration projects serve to inform landowners and others of strategies being implemented in the Navarro Watershed to improve watershed conditions. Demonstration projects may serve as a visual report on how specific tasks were preformed in a social and environmental context. Different techniques to achieve a desired result (e.g. rolling dips vs. cross drainage culverts) may be explored. Discussions of what went right and wrong may be included.

Project compositions on this webpage are screened to meet a standard of high quality. Compositions with significant bias are qualified as editorials. Technical compositions are peer reviewed. If you have a project you think should be posted on this website, please contact the Navarro River Resource Center at (707) 895-3230 or send an email to rivercenter@mcn.org.

You can also post your projects in the UC Davis Information Center for the Environment (ICE) database, a collaborative effort between the California Biodiversity Council and the University of California at Davis Information Center for the Environment. The Natural Resource Project Inventory (NRPI), is a comprehensive electronic database searchable on the Internet. NRPI is an expansion of previous inventories including 1) the Watershed Projects Inventory (WPI), 2) the California Ecological Restoration Projects Inventory (CERPI), and 3) the California Noxious Weed Control Projects Inventory.
