Workshops
Many workshops are offered in conjunction with the restoration of the Navarro River. Here is a list of some of the workshops that have been offered:
- Native Plant Propagation by Ken Montgomery (horticulturist) of AV Nursery
- Controlling Road-Related Erosion for Heavy Equipment Operators by Danny Hagans (consulting geologist) with Pacific Watershed Associates
- Native Riparian Plant Restoration with Ken Montgomery (horticulturist) of AV Nursery
- Invasive Plant Identification and Removal facilitated by Karen Gaffney (restoration ecologist) from Circuit Rider Productions, Inc.
- Watershed Restoration Using Natural Materials, led by Teri Jo Barber (hydrologist) with Ridge to River
Details of Past Workshops

Native Plants
This workshop, given by Ken Montgomery, included plant identification, the propagation of native plants, and a discussion about Sudden Oak Disease.
The workshop was given as the group of about twenty people walked through several riparian zones in the Navarro watershed. The walk and talk took 3 hours.

Roads
This roads workshop for heavy equipment operators was facilitated by Danny Hagans of Pacific Watershed Associates was held in May of 2003.
Hungry Hollow Road, Nash Mill Road and Holmes Ranch Road were the sites visited by approximately 27 workshop participants.
